Study On The Production Management System Of ABB Electrical Machine Company

Nowadays,the competition between countries is already taken within corporations.In spite of manufacturing firms or high-tech corporations,who wants to fulfill its competition advantage must have its own suitable,effective management system.After reform and open, although Chinese companies have accepted and developed oversea management methods and technologies,it is still common that the management productivity in most companies is still lower.It pushes us to think over whether the production management system and theories from oversea adapt to the Chinese situation and companies or not.So,studying and exploring the "Production Management System" to adapt local corporations would be our new manager responsibility.This is why I particular want to setup a production management system to production department.The method I study in this thesis is from finding issues to raise issues.Then I bring up theory foundation of problem solving according to practice to create a concept system.I try to descript the problem solving methods systematic.Finally,I described feasibility and practicability of the "Production Management System" from actual cases.It also describes the improvement of management level and manufacturing efficiency in whole ABB factory.The studies are focused on the management of production department.I will not extend the scope of study to the whole operation.The advantage is 1) Pertinence.It can bring some new management ideas to other managers who are engaged in similar work.2) Stand out emphases. These studies are be focused on confusion and difficulties confronted by production department in daily management work especially on the organization and employees management.3) Highlight practicability.From the study of this thesis,I hope I can provide a exercisable and practicability management system to ABB as my contributions.It would make management of production department to be a new competition advantage.4) Finally,I hope I can discuss and communicate about management lesson learns with other local managers especially with production managers based on this article.
