This paper is to analyze the problem and the reason of present cultivation approach for Chinese ciceroni, on basis of which, to explore the general law of cultivation on tour guide and optimize the original approach.This paper adopts research methods, such as investigation method of interview. The process of study involves three objects, the market demand of the Chinese ciceroni from the staff of travel agency, the Chinese ciceroni and the tourism university. By analysis on the results of investigation, there are two kinds of present cultivation mode of Chinese ciceroni. One is by the ordinary university, which means the major subject is neither the tourism nor something related with tourism. Another one is by the tourism university, which is also the main way for the guide.The paper puts some suggestions for optimization on two kinds of cultivation modes respectively on basis of the conclusions for integrated optimization. It involves the following aspects. On one side, provide the training class to the students from the ordinary university. On the other side, for the students from the tourism school, firstly, adjust the cultivations object of Chinese ciceroni, and pay more attention to tourism. Secondly, pursue the long-term object of"Double Competency"teaching staff construction. Thirdly, perfect the curriculum, and improve the working ability of the student. Fourthly, change the teaching way, and encourage the students participate.In all this paper there is six part .Part one is introduction. Part two is research summarizing. Part three is investigation of the cultivation mode of Chinese ciceroni. Part four is about the specialty of the job and the law of cultivation. Part five is optimization of cultivation mode for Chinese ciceroni. Part six is the ending.
