Studies On Eco-city Construction In Jinan City

A city as a symbol of human civilization and the carrier of socio-economic development, is a highly concentrated region of population,industry,finance, productivity,science and technology, is the core of regional economic activity. With the development of the urbanization and industrialization, Social economy makes the rapid development. At the same time, a series of environmental problems such as resource depletion, environmental pollution, ecological imbalance, population growth attend. In order to natural, economic and social development, some ecologists proposed "eco-city" model. "Eco-city" is the urban harmonious development model between man and nature , is the inevitable choice of the strategy of sustainable development, "eco-city" construction has become a modern urban development direction and goal, in view of this, this article from a regional perspective of Jinan City as the research object, studies on the eco-city construction in Jian city from the three areas of natural, economic, social.This article is divided into six parts which are introduction, the theoretical basis for eco-city, the conditions and limiting factors analysis of Jinan city ecology urban construction, the evaluation and analysis of Jinan city ecology urban construction, the main content and countermeasures and suggestions of Jinan city ecology urban construction and conclusions. The first part introduces the eco-city research background, the domestic and foreign research present situation , the content and technology roadmap of this article; The second part introduces the eco-city construction system at first, discusses in detail the concept of eco-city, on the basis of summing up the meaning and the features of the eco-city, and finally introduces the theoretical foundation of eco-city construction;The third part of this article discusses the status conditions, constraints and other areas from Jinan city ecology urban construction,pointing out the advantages and disadvantages of Jinan city ecology urban construction;The fourth part establishes a comprehensive, scientific, and feasible evaluation index system of eco-city and evaluation model , basing on the reference of the evaluation index system of eco-city at home and abroad, selects the 2002-2007 datas of Jinan, uses the AHP to the datas which gains to carry on the quantitative analysis, studies the development of urban ecosystem of Jinan from 2002 to 2007 these six years, obtains the present situation and the question which has existed in the development of Jinan city ecology construction in recent years;The Part V proposes the overall concept of Jinan eco-city construction based on the basic principles to be followed by the eco-city,the main content and countermeasures and suggestions of Jinan city ecology urban construction. The part IV and V are the demonstration of this paper;Finally in part VI,this paper summarizes the conclusions drawn from the article:1,Eco-city is a city which is social harmony and progress,economic effective operation,virtuous circle of eco–city,is the composite system of "natural - economic - social", is the social, economic, environmental continuum.Eco-city construction covers all aspects, which is not only urban greening, environmental protection, but also economic and social content, involving production,concepts,information, educat- ion and other aspects.2,The eco-city construction can not be completed rapidly,which needs a long-term step-by-step process. Different regions in different countries must be reasonable planning,focused and step-by-step in the ecological city construction based on its own characteristics,.3,The article analysis the situation of development and change of Jinan urban ecosystem, and obtains the result that the degree of Jinan city ecological phase is in the rising phase.4,There are some problems in the socio-economic development and the eco-city construction in Jinan city.In case of insufficient investment in environmental protection, too small tourism revenue in the proportion of GDP, the Government should increase investment to the environmental protection departments, give full play to the advantage of Jinan Quancheng to speed up the development of tourism.5,This paper proposes the countermeasures and suggestion of Jinan ecological city construction for its own characteristics and the problems of ecological urban system analysis and evaluation, especially the Transit-Oriented Development(TOD) which is in line with the actual of Jinan to promote the Jinan eco-city construction.
