Under the background of economic globalization, the operation systems have more diversified customers, increasing size of the scale and increasingly complicated structure. Especially in the last few years, the disruption occurred frequently, and continuously impacted on the demand side of the operation systems. All these make a modern operation system face higher degree of uncertainties. As a result, the operation systems often face the condition of demand surge. Therefore, how to deal with the imbalance between demand and capacity of the operation systems in the condition of demand surge becomes an important issue of the disruption management.Under considering the situation that the operation systems faced the condition of demand surge after disruption, this dissertation deals with the imbalance between demand and capacity of the operation systems based on two kinds of thinking: capacity sharing strategy and product pricing strategy. Firstly, the research background and significance of this dissertation, as well as the main thinking and the main contents of the paper, are mainly introduced in this dissertation.Secondly, in order to form the theoretical basis and for the follow-up section of the contents of reference, this dissertation reviews three parts of the research areas: the relevant researches on disruption management, the relevant researches on capacity sharing, and the relevant researches on product pricing.Thirdly, on the basis of studying the process of how disruption affects the demand, the dissertation forms the analysis framework of the degree of demand surge after disruption, introduces the main common strategy which the operation system used to deal with the imbalance between capacity and demand in the condition of demand surge, and then a widely applicable and more process clearable analysis framework of capacity sharing strategy and product pricing strategy of operation systems in the condition of demand surge was put forward.Fourthly, after the disruption, in the condition that the enterprise faces the sharp increase in demand, the capacity sharing model, as well as the capacity sharing and product pricing model are created to study the disruption management of the strategic alliance, who use the capacity sharing strategy and product pricing strategy to balance the capacity and the sharp-increased demand. Some important managerial insights are obtained through numerical simulation by MATLAB, reveal the inherent regulation of how to balance the capacity and demand under emergency. Therefore, they are useful for the guidance in building up the effective emergency coordination methods on the basis of capacity sharing and product pricing and scientific decision-making during the emergency period.Finally, the summary and the forecast of follow-up researches of this dissertation are proposed.
