The Research On Sweden's Pension Reform

Sweden's pension reform which begined 1990s,was undoubtedly the world's first model in pension reform.Especially the Notional Defined Contribution Model which is first created by Sweden,can be studied by many countries. China's current pension system is being reformed,and the reform has encountered many difficulties,which may shake people's confidence in the existing system. If the reform lacks of a correct theoretical guidance, the pension system will choose a pointless debate. Thus, to research the new trend of the pension reform is particularly urgent.This research is a Literature Research,which focuses on the Sweden's pension reform started in the 1990s.And then make a review of China's pension reform, proposing the future direction of China's pension reformThis research make the following conclusions:First, the financing of Pension Insurance is different with the payment .In order to establish a incentive mechanism, the accumulation system is not the only choose.Second, in addition to the basic welfare, the Government should not promise more responsibilities.For China, in order to make a Sustainable development pension system, we must consider reducing the burden from now on. Third,we should establish the NDC.Now China's Rapid economic development, capital market imperfections as well as the current old-age insurance in the process of transformation of a large number of restructuring costs, all the problems and conditions tell us China has the conditions to established a system of NDC.
