Research On Multimodal Transportation Process Design And Path Optimization

Multimodal transportation development is the advanced stage and it is also an inevitable trend of modern transportation development. So many countries will consider the future development of multimodal transportation as a priority.On the basis of previous studies, thesis has further studied the multimodal transportation flow path design and optimization. First of all, the papers comprehensively introduce a variety of research results of the multimodal transportation, such as the concept of multimodal transportation, characteristics, advantages, domestic and international development condition of multimodal transportation and so on. Secondly, on the basis of the analysis of inter-modal system and mode of operation, thesis starts to design the process of multimodal transportation and also brings in philosophy of the fourth party logistics management for internal coordination of multimodal transportation. Finally, it gives the multimodal transportation model with the time window. Taking into account the cost and time constraints, the path selection and preferred mode of transport are considered together. For the single-task multimodal transportation model, the improved genetic algorithm based on the K-shortest path is designed, which considers both path optimization and choice of the mode of transportation. The simulation results show that the effectiveness of the algorithm.
