This paper focuses on this issue-if China's import and export will affect its sustainable ability of natural resource and environment and economy; what trade policy should be adopt to keep the sustainable ability of natural resource and environment and economy. At the beginning, this paper gives a comprehensive description of China's trade and natural resource and environment, and an introduction of the idea of sustainable development. Afterwards, in the view of sustainable development, this paper gives a commentary on the theories of international trade, and Economics of Resource and Environment. And kinds of research home and abroad about the relationship between international trade and resource and environment are reviewed. Then an analysis frame of the relationship between international trade and natural resource and environment is established on the basis of the amendment of H-O theory. And the outcome of theoretic analysis is that -the ratio of price and the ratio of content of natural resource of the import goods and export goods determine the affect the international trade gives on the natural resource and environment. When the ratio of price between the export goods and the import goods is higher than the ratio of content of natural resource between the export goods and import goods, the international trade benefits the sustainable ability of natural resource and environment ;and vice versa. And the empirical analysis including Co integration Test, Granger Test and Correlation Test testifies the theoretic analysis outcome. According to the analysis outcome, the suggestions about how to keep China's sustainable ability of natural resource and environment and economy are put on after a review of China's trade policy. At the last, in the view of sustainable development, this paper gives a commentary on the free trade, labor-intensive industry and the responsibility of government and producers.
