With the development of international trade people pay more attention to the cost of logistics. As a result, the relationship between logistics and international trade has become more and more important. As the accelerator of economy and the third profit source, logistics is a fundamental industry and the key of economic development in the international business world. The logistics has started with trade inside the country and advanced with the development of international trade. At the same time, as the indispensable segments of international trade, logistic will impact the further development of international trade. China as 'world factory' plays a very important role in international trade in the world. And now China is in a very important period to upgrade manufacturing industry and to be a part of international logistics. As a result, the research of the relationship between foreign trade and logistics is a major theoretical and practical issue.This paper analyses the cost in the international trade and divides the whole logistical process of international trade into three parts: inbound logistics, customs and outbound logistics. On one hand, it is clear that a strong logistics system with high efficiency cut the cost and increases the international trade. On the other hand, international trade is the certain result of logistics developments.First, this paper analyses the relationship between international trade and logistic theoretically. Then the study focuses on their interaction in China. After that, on the basic of data in China empirical researches give us some valuable conclusions. Finally, this paper presents the suggestion of policy to development of the logistics and foreign trade in china.
