| As according to the statistic sourced from American Education Association, the investment of every ONE US Dollar can be returned by 50 US Dollar, but according to China domestic survey, the transfer of training to productivity is only at 10% to 20% in China. How to improve the training effectiveness so as to help the trainees applying the learned knowledge and skills to daily work, to improve the efficiency and quality, to be returned more after investment of training - this is common subject the investors, the company management team and the trainers all facing to. The solution to this problem will significantly improve the labor competency and be very much helpful for China's upgrading and transition of industry structure.The paper takes the manufacturing industrial which occupies 12% of labor resources as study background, exercises the ideas in a typical USA based electronic manufacturing company, guided by the internationally leading theories about the factors which effect training effectiveness, based on the Kirkpatrick training effectiveness evaluation model, the paper focus on studying how to improve the training effectiveness for the production line operators in manufacturing industry.The author studied a lot of theories, models, analysis and personally involved in one year time in an experimental exercises in company P to verify some proposals which aimed at improving training effectiveness for production line operators. To improve training effectiveness, it is recommended that 1) the training contents need to meet business requirement, the training methodology should be easily accepted by trainees 2) to improve the trainees' self driven 3) to create an organization environment which is good for transferring of trained knowledge and skills. |
