Study On Fairness Of Income Distribution Based On Descriptive Statistics Of Skewed Distribution

Accompanied by reform and opening-up has been rapidly promoting the development of our country's economic growth, our country appears on the income distribution gap between the objectives and it has become essential problem to build a harmonious society. Know how to properly present the fairness of income distribution, the most important problem is the scientific measure of the fairness of the income distribution situation, that is, what method to measure the fairness of income distribution.In this paper, according to the assumption that 'When absolutely fair distribution of income, the income distribution curve of normal distribution', we use a method from a new perspective which skewed distribution of the 'Skewness', 'kurtosis' and 'Mean' target statistics on the equity in description. Skewness is measure the contrast between rich and poor income; kurtosis is a measure of the concentration of wealth in society; Mean is measure income level. And describes the 'shared poverty,' 'a small number of rich and poverty-type polarization,' 'a small number of poor and rich-type polarization,' 'common prosperity' of four typical types of income distribution.Obtained by calculating the skewness of the distribution described in the fairness of the warning criteria: When the distribution of the income distribution curve skewness and kurtosis at the same time meet the 'skewness is in the between of-0.120 and 0.122' and 'kurtosis is in the between of -0.773 and 0.153', the distribution of income is the fair and reasonable, otherwise, is the unfair distribution of income.Finally, by comparing the years 1984-2007 in skewness, we have the conclusion: In accordance with security standards of fairness, our country's 1984-2007 income year are unfair distribution; 90's and 80's is more fair than the 21st century; about one of the most fair in 1998; since the 21st century become more and more unfair. Through this we hope can give some help to improve the provision of reference amended.
