With economic development, constantly improving people's living standards, we pay more attention to food nutrition, taste and safety. Food security is a subject in the world concerned, however, both developed and developing countries, food safety issues appeared frequently, avian influenza, Sudan I, the outbreak of mad cow disease make people paid more and more attention to food safety.Traditional supply chain to focus on the value-added product in the chain, easily overlooked on the environment, green supply chain management in the traditional supply chain based on the consideration of environmental factors, so that producers, users, the environment to optimize the overall effectiveness of the implementation of green supply chain management is imperative. Green Supply Chain Management include green design, green materials selection, green production, green marketing, green consumption and green recycling, making products from materials acquisition, processing, packaging, warehousing, transportation, sales and recycling process to take full account of the overall economic environment effectiveness.This paper combined food safety issues with green supply chain management theory, consider the idea of pollution-free, without undesirable components and without any side effects in green supply chain management to reference in food supply chain management, make the whole process of the food production supply chain from farm to table to a green supply chain, introduced in green supply chain standards in the supply chain, through the control of the whole chain to achieve green standards to solve the issue of food safety.
