The Application Research Of Optimization Model In Logistics Management

Logistics operation plays a very important role in an enterprise business.The effectiveness of logistics operation has an essential impact to operational cost of the entire business.This thesis is to study how to apply scientific management methodology to logistics operations so as to improve its performance.The writer firstly provides the brief introduction of Inventory Management and Transportation Management theory.It is the foundation of the following research.Then,based on the study of current logistics operation practices of S company,the writer provides an effective optimization model for warehouse inventory management by applying the models of Economic Order Quantity and Re-order Point,and provides an optimization model for transportation management by adopting the models of TSP(Traveling Salesman Problem) and Linear Programming.By application of optimization models,the writer believes the performance of S company's logistics must be improved gradually and eventually.
