Research On Inventory Optimization In Closed-loop Repair Supply Chain Based On PLM

Spare parts inventory management is the key aspect of after-sale repair service. And the disabled spare parts are one of the important resources of supplying the spare parts. However, spare parts are in great amount and the demand is unstable, so that it is hard for companies to control it effectively. Closed-loop repair chain is able to effectively manage spare parts' procurement, remanufacturing, sales and recycling. And its implementation has great theoretical and practical significance in our country.On the basis of the theory about Closed-loop supply chain and Product Life Management (PLM) , the distribution of recycling rate and the inventory models in different life phases in Closed-loop repair chain are discussed systematically. The main work is as blow:The background of the thesis is studied in Chapter 1. And the researches inbound and outbound about closed-loop supply chain are summarized about the difficulty of integrating closed-loop supply chain, the existing ways of forecasting recycling amount and the development of stock models.The theory of closed-loop repair supply chain based on product life cycle is analyzed in Chapter 2. The concept of product life cycle is analyzed. Based on the theory above, the flow of closed-loop repair supply chain, the characters of inventory management and the ways and technologies in implementing closed-loop repair supply chain are discussed too.The recycling rate of reusable spare parts and spare parts U-shape curve is analyzed in Chapter 3 with simulating distribution by data of after-sale activity.The two sources of stock in closed-loop repair supply chain in different phases of PLM is studied in Chapter 4. On the foundation of the inventory structure of the closed-loop repair chain and the different recycling inventory cost, the inventory strategies, inventory variety characters and cost instructor in the three phases(input stage, stable stage and decline stage) in PLM are researched and according inventory models are built.Taking a home appliances company for example, the model in the stable phase by example is solved in order to verify the model's effectiveness in Chapter 5.The main contents are reviewed and the creation of this thesis as well as the further research tendency is put forth in Chapter 6.
