Research On The Performance Evaluation Of Distribution In The Chain Enterprise's Distribution Center

The physical distribution in new economic era has become the third source which creates profits by improving operation efficiency,lowering cost and increasing response speed for customers' demand as much as possible.As the chain business is increasingly becoming a leading commercial form of retailing in this era,a large number of commercial chain enterprises are building distribution centers and regarding chain logistics as the link of chain operation, which have played a powerful role in promoting for the development of commercial chain enterprises.However,due to a very short time on the development of chain enterprises in China, the theoretical study and practical experience of logistics distribution are somewhat limited, especially the understanding of performance evaluation of distribution are still in the initial stage. At present,the combination of evaluation index system and evaluation methods is less likely considered in domestic research on distribution performance of distribution center.Moreover,the evaluation indexes mainly concentrate on the completion of a single operation;there is no concept of system,and they emphasis on the considerations of service quality,while neglecting the evaluation of economics.Regarding improving enterprise's operating capacity and competitive power as goal,this paper researches distribution performance in the chain enterprise's distribution center.Firstly,it makes a comprehensive analysis on the basic theory of chain enterprise and distribution center. Then proceeded from overall angle,logistics distribution of chain enterprise is divided into seven works:order-deal,purchase,stock,sort,distribution processing,transportation,customer service. The operation of each work is elaborated respectively;in addition,the important factors which have an effect on distribution performance of chain enterprise are also discussed in detail.Based on theoretical analysis,this paper sets up a performance evaluation system of chain enterprise's distribution center from the following seven aspects:overall utilization rate of distribution center, purchasing function,inventory function,transporting function,processing function,level of equipment and technology,service effectiveness.Each index is illuminated qualitatively or quantitatively.Finally,the evaluation index system established above is applied to supermarket chains SP;then Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation is used to evaluate the distribution performance of distribution center in SP.
