Research On Credit Risk Of Chinese Guarantee Institutions

Small and medium-sized enterprises is an important strength for economic development, credit guarantee institutions plays an irreplaceable role in the financial supporting system for small and medium-sized enterprises. A credit guarantee institution operates risks and bears the responsibility. It is a internationally recognized high-risk industry. Therefore, it is the key to the sustainable and healthily development of Chinese credit guarantee institutions that we shall recognize correctly, guard and control effectively the credit risk.The thesis concludes the connotation and characteristics of the credit risk of guarantee institutions, based on the theory of the credit guarantee and credit risk. Then, this paper analyzes systematically the credit risk of credit guarantee institutions from macro-environment, external micro and their own of the guarantee institutions, combined with the development of Chinese credit guarantee institutions. On this basis, this research makes empirical analysis with the credit risks of Chinese credit guarantee institutions, by referencing the analysis techniques of the domestic credit rating institutions and using the data in the credit rating report. In the end, the paper advances the relevant suggestions about the control of the risk.The paper studies the risk of guarantee institutions both with the method of theory analysis and demonstration analysis, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. At present, there is few relevant study about the credit risk of guarantee institutions in China and overseas. The research of credit risk focuses on the risk of large financial institutions overseas. So, the paper represents the theoretical exploration and innovation in some sense.
