Analysis On The Effection Of Introduing Foreign Strategic Investors By Chinese Commercial Banks

The banking industry is the key to promote the national economy development, support economic structuring and maintain social stability aspect, and it is the most important part in the entire financial reform. To deal with the opening of the banking industry to competition from foreign banks ,Our government has carried out a series of reforms, including the introduction of foreign strategic investors in the past six years, hopes to use external forces to help speed up the reform of native banking sector and enhance the competitiveness. Based on this background, the paper analyses the effect of introducing the foreign strategy investors to our country commercial bank over the past few years.Firstly, this text is based on the background of introduction of foreign strategic investors in China's commercial banks, introduces the current situation of foreign investments in commercial banks, analyses the significance of the introduction of foreign strategic investors. Then it expounds the initial results of introduction of foreign strategic investors in two hands. 1. From upgrading of the corporate governance structure, risk management, business, the market's image, it analyses the effectiveness of the cooperation of China commercial banks and foreign strategic investors. 2. Based on financial data, analyses whether these indicators, which are profitability, Management capacity, and quality of assets, have been improved from introducing of foreign strategy investors. Finally, this paper proposes seven advices, which are about how to improve the efficiency of cooperation with the foreign strategic investors.The ultimate conclusion is an experienced,qualified foreign strategic investor played a positive role, in the improvement of corporate governance structure, business philosophy changes ,the management level and efficiency of the operators .
