Tourism product is one of the most important concepts in tourism research system, while product development is the core of entire development activity. Though the tourist industry of Qin huangdao city started early, compared with the fast development of other coastal cities such as Dalian, Qingdao, Sanya, Qinhuangdao's competitiveness of the tourism product has taken on the gradually lowing trend. Under the new circumstance of connotation development, the traditional coastal tourism cannot meet the demands of the present tourist segment market, only through exploring the connotation of Qinhuangdao tourism product and the potentiality of development,the competitiveness of the Qinhuangdao tourism industry can be improved.Based on the current domestic and international tourism products made of the theory, this paper put forward a new concept. Tourism product is an integrated product, which rely on regional resources and market demand,and are made up of tourism resources, tourism facilities, tourism services, tourism, etc. Tourist areas (spots) and other attractive factors, restaurants, transportation, recreation and tourism souvenirs is either a single product or the component of tourism product. And this paper also provides a model to interpret the concept.This paper uses the research methods of literature analysis, inspection and questionnaire survey, and quantitative analysis. Based on the knowledge of RMP, integrating the theories of TPC and CS in the marketing, tourism life-cycle, characteristics of consumer behavior, tourism sustainable development, and experience economy, this paper studies the deep exploitation of tourism product in Qin huang dao.On the base of the framework of RMP and the perspective of resources (R) and market (M), Qinhuangdao City tourism product development resources are analyzed from the aspects of tourism resources, tourism facilities, tourism, eco-environmental and the results show that Qinhuangdao has advantages in the number of tourist resources, quality, and scale. However, Qinhuangdao does not have the monopoly of tourism resources, especially the coastal tourism product compared with other temperate coastal tourist cities such as Qingdao, Yantai, Weihai, and Dalian. On the other hand, tourism product market conditions are analyzed from the aspects of the tourism industry characteristics, economic strength, tourist markets, tourist behavior, tourism and other conditions combination with statistical data and questionnaire with tourists. Second, some problems are pointed out through P (product) analysis at the base of resource assessment and market elastic demand: (1) lack of joint development and vertical development; (2) tourism product with single structure and low-level; (3) lack in exploitation of tourism product; (4) tourism product of history culture has not been developed adequately; (5) seasonal limitation of the tourism product; (6) lack of publicity.Finally, the multi-dimensional strategy is put forward: (1) tourism items such as fancy bird, Qigong, skiing, hot spring should be carried out to reduce the disparity of peak season and slack season; (2) mark off into the space pattern with"12518"(one-city, two-zone, five-arrange, eighteen-group). (3) integrate the elements which are related in the tourism products such as accommodation, traffic, entertainment and souvenir to propose"the chart of Qing huangdao tourism accommodation products".
