The Analysis And Control Of Uncertainty In Supply Chain Of Medium And Small-sized Enterprise

Supply Chain Management draws more and more attention from both industries and academic field.High-efficient supply chain management can help a company to build its core competency,but it has many members and much complicate in structure,which brings on many uncertainties in supply chain management and it also has a serious negative affect on the efficiency of the whole chain.So analysis and control of these uncertainties is the key of enhancing the efficiency of supply chain.Medium and small-sized enterprises are playing an important role during the process of the development of our country' economy.But most of the medium and small-sized enterprises are confined to the financing and scale,so they don't pay more attention to the flow of supply chain.The uncertainties which exist in process of supplying,producing and selling have made an obvious influence on medium and small-sized enterprises.So it is important to analysis and control of uncertainty in supply chain of medium and small-sized enterprise.The thesis takes a medium and small-sized enterprise which produce bedclothes as an example.It introduce the business status and the structure of the company's supply chain,and analysis the uncertainties in its supply chain.First,use a Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA) model with the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) to construct preference constraint cone to control the uncertainties that come from the process of supplying.Secondly,improve the layout of workshop by the knowledge of system layout planning(SLP) to increase the productivity and throughput,in order to control the uncertainties come from the process of producing. Finally,use the vendor managed inventory(VMI) strategy to control the Bullwhip Effect that bring on by information distortion.It will control the cost of stocking and transporting,which could control the uncertainties come from the process of selling.The thesis improves the company's flow of supply chain to control and decrease the negative influence by uncertainties of supply chain,which could increase the efficiency of supply chain and improve the competency of the company,at the same time it boost up confidence to continually improve to the enterprise.The thesis practices and improves the DEA restraint cone,SLP,VMI primarily,combines the theory with practice,and try to control the uncertainties in supply chain.
