Research On Data Planning For China's Commercial Bank

After more than 20 years overspeed development, China's commercial banks have made tremendous achievements in many aspects, Information Technology has taken on the entire commercial banks'business system. However, with the promotive needs of commercial banks enhancing refined management and scientifically decision-making and so on, suchlike data analysis system presents to the technology planning of commercial banks ceaselessly. The data flow between systems, data quality and data security have been required an unprecedented request. A series of problems caused by the lack of data overall planning began to appear constantly, and became insuppressible difficulties hindering the IT system development of commercial banks. This thesis in view of the information technology system developing actuality of China commercial banks and the internal and external environment, designed data planning principles, methods and processes to enhance the data applied capabilities of China commercial banks.This thesis base on the Informationize Construction actuality of China Commercial Banks, firstly analyze the overall informationize development status of China commercial bank, summary the current stage and characteristics of the commercial banks'information technology development, therefore define the research background, direction and content framework of this paper. Secondly, this paper carry out a detailed analysis from the system distribution, data transfer, data issuance channel, data confirquration and the final exhibit five aspects of China's commercial banks. Thereby elicited major data problems that Chinese commercial banks faced, and analyzed the underlying reasons that the problem caused by in detail, and then described the importance of data planning in the settlement of principal data issues during commercial banks'informationize construction. Next, this paper discussed the research status quo of data planning at home and abroad, detailedly analyzed the basic methods and processes of James. Martin's strategic data planning, and combined with the special internal and external environment which China commercial banks in to discuss the directive significance of James Martin's data planning methods to China commercial banks'data planning. Finally, this thesis combined with the literature studies brought forward the principles, methods and processes that should be followed in data planning by China commercial banks within the special internal and external environment.
