Research On Information Resource Planning Of A Commercial Bank

Although the information construction of domestic commercial banks have made certain achievements, for a long time the information construction of domestic commercial banks generally lack of information resource planning, which leads the relevance of information in different systems to be weaken and shares information hardly possible, all these has seriously affected the effect of information system.This paper first introduces the theoretical system of IRP, information resources, information resource management, development stage of enterprise information construction, the theory of information engineering are introduced. Secondly, we introduce the key contents of IRP in commercial banks, including the construction of information resource standard system, the function model building of information system and business data planning. Then this paper gives a common implementation strategy of commercial banks to implement a IRP project, which includes organizing a team, planning steps,construction of subject database and IRP principle. This paper focuses on the analysis of actual IRP case in a commercial bank, the first one it introduces the basic conditions of the commercial bank, the second one it expounds the present situation and problems of information resource management in the bank, the third one it analysis the bank’s demand of information resource management in operation and management activities in detail, the fourth one it builds the commercial Bank’s information system function model with "functional domain- business process- a business activity" analysis method, the fifth one it completes the bank’s the business data planning with the construction of conceptual data model and the logical data model as represents, the sixth one it makes some exploration in respect of data management standardization construction, establishes the path of the data standardization in the commercial bank.
