Research On Information Resource Planning For Company A Of Refining Plate In Petrol China

The nature of enterprise information is the exploration and utilization of information with proper flow process. ERP was generated to integrate the information flow from both inside and outside of the enterprise. However, the implementation of ERP in China was not that successful, which can mainly attribute to the poor information resource planning ("IRP" as below) and disunities of standards for data process. The thesis analyzed the Company A of refining plate in Petrol China to perform information resources planning process and establish integrated information platform within the enterprise based upon ERP.Firstly, the current situation of business processes and information system application were analyzed, based upon which the major goal for the information construction for enterprise within refining plate of Petrol China was put forward, and expatiated the development of ERP and IRP theories and their engineering process.Secondly, based upon the implementation method for information resources engineering process, IRP was performed towards enterprise within refining plate of Petrol China by research and analysis the current organization structure, responsibilities of respective departments, core business processes and the information demands. According to the research and analysis result, business model should established and business forms collected and unified for user interface. After feasibility analysis achieved, business application and data model should be established for final information system framework. By analyzing the reasons of previous failure of implementation of ERP, considering the IRP result, the thesis expounded the ERP application to ensure the smooth of information flow.The thesis aims to put forward a sound method to ensure the information construction through research on IRP and ERP, which may provide some reference for petrol refining industry in future.
