Automatic control and management in industrial production has become the key topic in industrial development today. The opening of enterprise network, the integration of enterprise information and the optimization of enterprise management will be the trend of enterprise development. Production Management, an important component of ERP, is emphasized by enterprise. Production Scheduling, an important information bridge which links process control to production management, the basement of production management and the source of information systems, is taking more and more important place in the networked-development mode of integration of management and control.This thesis focuses on a CANBUS-based continuous production scheduling and decision support system, in which a central control station is used to implement automatic management of production process and to fulfill the tasks of monitoring, scheduling, harmonizing the production process. The involved work is presented as follows: After reviewing the trend of industrial control network development, the applied significance of CIPS in industrial reconstruction, and the researchful meanings of scheduling decision, this thesis discusses the functional structure of CIPS in continuous industry and the main technologies of CIPS's realization, and presents the system structure model of the production scheduling systems of CIPS based on the analysis of the traits of production scheduling systems of CIPS. With the background of the production process automatic reconstruction project of Oxygen plant, this thesis emphatically constructs the system structure of the fieldbus continuous production scheduling and decision support system based on distributed multilayer fieldbus network framework, and dissertates the software and hardware design and system implementation of the system. Last, on the base of discussion of the normal methods of production scheduling of CIPS, this thesis puts forward the idea of integration of scheduling decision support system (DSS) and data mining (DM), and tries to solve the problems of scheduling decision in continuous production process of the Oxygen plant by data mining methods.
