The Study On Centralized Network Operating & Maintenance Mode For CMCC B BRANCH

Since China embraced the epic reform and opening-up since 1978, with our nation's economy increased rapidly. And with the strong support from the state's policy and citizen, also with the great effort from telecom company's staff, Telecommunications have advanced by leaps and bounds. The biggest three-dimensional communications network in the world linking the whole country and the rest of the world has been established, and the number of telephone subscribers ranks first in the world. The technical level and the quality of service have been increased. The increasing speed of Telecommunications has exceeded the speed of GDP. However, accompanied with the telecom market is fully developed, the competition in the telecom operators begin to work up, which force the telecom operators to transform business, network and management, which promote the telecom operator's core-competitiveness. The change of telecommunication network operating and maintenance mode is one of the most important components of core-competitiveness, which demand improving network maintenance mode, quality and efficiency and reducing expense of running a company.Using quantitative study and qualitative investigation, the paper analyzes the pressure and challenge of Network Dept. CHINA MOBILE GROUP CO., LTD ("CHINA MOBILE GROUP CO., LTD " is called "CMCC" for short hereinafter) when executing transformation of telecommunication centralized network operating and maintenance ("centralized network operating and maintenance" is called "centralization" for short hereinafter) . From three ways of company organization, supported system and stuff management, the paper study the network maintenance experience and correlative management ideas of foreign telecom companies, furthermore, the paper study the achievement and deficiency of experimental unit of CMCC.The centralization mode, not only absored the centralization experience of internal and external corporations, but also consider the design idea and the construction mesure. The paper also bring forward the measure of promoting the efficiency of centralization in CMCC B BRANCH from four ways including management of organization, fault treatment, network optimization and network sustentation.Finally, after CMCC B BRANCH have finished the reform of centralization, the paper evaluate the benefit of centralized telecommunication network operating and maintenance from efficiency and economic.
