Study On Managed Care Of America

In recent years,with the continuous advancement of technology,the average life expectancy of our citizens is rising while the soaring medical expense which caused by the aging population also been put on more and more attention.How to guarantee the quality of medical services under the premise of effective controlling of medical expense has become an important problem of our society.Therefore,managed care which founded in 1970s becomes a good reference for the object.In 1970s,the United States was in the similar situation as what we confront now that the government is facing with enormous financial pressure caused by uncontrolled health care expense, and that becomes the background of the execute of managed care.This paper systematically introduced the development process of managed care,the expense control system and operating mechanism of managed care,and finally summarized the reference of managed care for our country.
