Research On Expense Control Of Our Social Medical Insurance

With the continually rapid increase of social medical insurance expense in many countries , the reform of social medical insurance system and the control of medical expense have been the hot issues that many countries concern. The purpose of the medical insurance expense control is to give fair and basic health service to a larger scope of citizens by utilizing the limited medical resources. The results of our third health service investigation which publicized by ministry of health indicate one of the biggest living pressure of our citizens is still the medical expense.This thesis focuses on one of the key problems—the expense control of our current social medical insurance. It adopts methods like literature investigation, field survey, data comparison and statistic method, summarizes the reform steps of our social medical insurance, analyzes our actuality of the expense control, introduces the successful experience of developed countries, and puts forward some relevant countermeasures and suggestions to the expense control in the process of our medical insurance by following the principle of putting forward problems, analyzing problems and resolving problems.Our current reform of social medical insurance is now at the intersection. How to take effective measures to control the rapid increase of medical expense and ensure the smooth implementation of our medical insurance reform have been the crucial issues. Only through continuous reform and innovation to change the current medical system and the settlement mode of our medical insurance, can we make the limited medical expense better used and provide better medical service to our citizens so as to accelerate the healthy development of our social medical insurance accordingly.
