Modern society more and more tends to go for the discrepancy and personality. Fierce marketing competition brings new innovation of manufacturing industry. Mass production has not satisfied with the requirement of product diversity well, on the contrary, order production could do well. Engineer-to-Order (ETO) enterprise is one of the most important production styles, which has many characteristics such as order randomness, complicated product variety, long production cycle, and lower repeat rate and so on. Therefore, it's difficult to carry out production management especially the scheduling management because of these characteristics. Traditional scheduling management pattern couldn't satisfy with the requirement of new production style, and it's necessary to introduce new scheduling and controlling management pattern and method in ETO enterprises.This paper just focuses on the characteristics of ETO enterprise and its product, using the knowledge of Industrial Engineering, ERP Theory, Theory of Constraint, Computational intelligence algorithms and model and so on, presents the scheduling and controlling method based on integrated ERP and TOC in ETO enterprise. In this paper, the defect of traditional scheduling and controlling management theory, system and method. In accordance with the characteristics and needs of scheduling management in ETO enterprises, the paper researches the feasibility of the scheduling and controlling by integrated ERP and TOC, also presents an integrated approach. The paper contacts the scheduling and controlling method based on integrated ERP and TOC in ETO enterprise with the general business entities, building the scheduling model and controlling model based on integrated ERP and TOC respectively, in-depth study of ISCM concept, principle and method of the content system, and describes the ISCM application steps in the ETO enterprise, which based on these two models.Finally, the research fruits above all are applied to the actual scheduling and controlling management in an enterprise, and this paper presents an empirical study of a workshop in one Transformer Company. Current scheduling and controlling pattern of this workshop has been analyzed, problems and requirement of the scheduling and controlling method based on integrated ERP and TOC have been presented. The empirical scheduling model and controlling model have been built, and through the workshop using of these models details how to apply the ISCM to assisted the workshop in practical scheduling and controlling production management. Until now, all the research fruits have been applied to the scheduling and controlling of this workshop, enhanced the level of its production management to some extent and made a certain contribution to the productivity improvement of the company.
