Disparities Of Regional Economy And Harmony Development Study Of Hunan Province

In this paper, considering home and abroad research methods and results of the economic disparities and the level of economic development and its convergence analysis of the, combined with the actual situation of economic development of Hunan, we use the indicators and panel data analysis to systemically study the economic differences between cities and prefectures in Hunan and their trend of change, to observe the change of difference of cities and prefectures in Hunan since the reform and opening , to analyze the impact of the fixed-asset investment and industrial institutions and other factors in Hunan on regional economic disparities, to explore the effective measures of coordinated development of various regions in Hunan Province.First of all, we build a creative Index System to divide the Hunan Economic Area, and according to the index system, we use cluster analysis methods to classify Hunan Province to three regions. And then using extreme value, standard deviation and its coefficient, RHL value, the Gini coefficient, Nich value indicators to measure regional economic differences since reform and opening-up. The results show that the differences in the regional economy in Hunan since 1978 have been increasing, but after 2000 the trend of widening slowed down.Then, using Theil coefficient and the Gini coefficient decomposition method, respectively decompose industrial and space component of Hunan regional economic disparities, the decomposition by the Theil coefficient founding that since reform and opening up the differences of economic between the three region growing, mostly differences come from inter-regional differences; by the decomposition of the Gini coefficient founding that contribution of differences in the first industry to the overall difference decline, the contribution of difference in the third industry to the overall difference razing and beyond the contribution of first industry, but the difference was large partly caused by the secondary industry.Then, after analyzing Hunan Province's differences changes trends, found that since the reform and opening up, the level of regional economic development in Hunan Province is not converged, but existed absoluteβconvergence and fixed-asset investment and industrial condition forβconditioned convergence, and Hunan CZT region and other regions convergence club. This shows that the absoluteβconvergence with Xiangxi Xiangzhong'convergence effect over the region of Hunan CZT regions and other parts'divergent effects.Conclusion based on the above evidence, it is necessary to promote the coordinated development of regional economy in Hunan Province. We should coordinate the economic development of regional industrial structure, encouraging the formation of the regional characteristics of the industrial structure, and at the same time increase investment in backward areas.
