Research On Development Of Agritourism In Fuzhou

Agri-tourism is the product of the integration of both agriculture and tourism, which can render both the primary industry and the tertiary-industry on an reciprocal increasing condition during the effective combination, resulting in the enormous economics benefits. Developing Agri-tourism plays a substantial role in the construction of new socialist countryside and the improvement of sustained agricultural development as well as building a harmonious socialist society.Development of Agri-tourism in Fuzhou is still far later from others, staying on the primary state. Nowadays, as the fast development of globally Agricultural Industrialization, the nation's income has increased gradually but the acceleration of both the life steps and social competition lead to the strong requirement of a variety of leisure to relax themselves, which has provided opportunity and power to the Agri-tourism in Fuzhou. Therefore, summarizing the experience of developing Agri-tourim domestic and overseas and going with the theory of Multi-functional Agriculture, Industrial Integration, Tourism Economics, Recreational Belt around Metropolis as well as Sustainable development to study the development of Agri-tourism in Fuzhou makes a great sense both theoretically and practically.The thesis can be divided for four sections. Firstly, we have elucidated the importance on optimizing the industrial structure of agriculture and countryside and the transfer of agricultural surplus labor as well as improving the sustained development of ecological environment resulted from developing Agri-tourism. We further propose that characterization, setting brand, industrial integration and sustained development should be taken into the consideration during the Agri-tourism development in our country. Secondly,we have analysed the advantages and disadvantages, opportunities and challenges with the method of SWOT analysis based on the current developmental status in Fuzhou,concluding that there exists the regional advantages and basic infrastructure, which can benefit the Agri-tourism development in Fuzhou. However, facing to the decreasing cultivated land, frequent occurence of natural disaster and the poor touring environment, Fuzhou should take the opportunity to develop Agri-tourism by bringing in capital and developing specific manager as well as making full use of governmental support.In the end, combined with the practical status and the survey analysis, we have proposed some suggestion about developing Agri-tourism in Fuzhou, such as improve the sensibility of Agri-tourism as well as the instruction of related basic infrastructure, strengthen the guidance of the government together with the communication between Min-Tai regains to develop a new way for the Agri-tourism development in Fuzhou.
