Research On The Development Of Shanghai Automobile Industry-a View On The Reconstruction Of Network Structure

As an important production organization, global production network (GPN) gives flagships a kind of ability that using different resources dispersing all over the word. At the same time, it also gives a chance for native production network (NPN) in developing countries to join the global economic system. This can help developing countries to enhance their industry structure.The development of the NPN that enchased in GPN has attracted many subjects to study in. At present, most of these researches are limited in three points: knowledge spillovers in GPN, the management of network power and the influence of culture amalgamation in NPN. From the point of this article, the structure of NPN has a great influence in knowledge spillovers, network power and the amalgamation of different cultures.Theories about network structure have been summed up and assessed in this article, and four phases of restructure of network structure have been carved up. Then this article discusses the different influences to NPN of the four phases network restructure.By analyzing the global automobile production network, this article analyzes the development of automobile industry in Shanghai and its restructure, then find that there are many problems during the restructure of network, and these problems give great challenge to its development, these problems include: joint venture depend excessly on the flagship and this leads to a badly technology lock-up; culture conflict is bad for the optimization of network structure; private corporation developed very fast but some hindrance come to being; half-opening network structure blocking the development of the local supplier; in order to enhance its power, flagships begin to find another partner outside the NPN; the purchase of the Saicgroup plunging into trouble.From the author's point, optimizing the network structure is an important way to solve these problems and enhance the network power in the global automobile network.
