GNH is the abbreviation of the concept called Gross National Happiness, which is regarded as the guiding philosophy of Bhutan's development process and the uniquely Bhutanese approach to development, even a new system of development of socio-economy. GNH is possessed of more superior aspects than GDP to measure the healthy of the socio-economy. This paper concerns the development of Tibetan socio-economy. To argue this, the author compares GNH and GDP in detail and puts forward five reasons to support her idea on adopting the concept of GNH as the guiding of development in Tibet in the future, moreover, the author shows several methods to state her idea, and finally she introduces the available accounting system of GNH in this paper.The whole paper was divided into six Sections.In first chapter, the author describes the background, research method, logical framework, research techniques, and the expected framework of this paper.In second chapter, the author first analyzes the adverse impact resulted from developing economy which has been regarding GDP as the main measurement, in contrast, the advantage of considering GNH as the number one guiding philosophy of region's development process.In third chapter, the author gives five reasons for why introduce GNH into Tibet. The actually detailed causes include five aspects: constructing a harmonious society, building an environment-friendly society, the relation between happiness and the growth of GDP, the fact of raising people's incomes and the current state of environment.In fourth chapter, the author suggests the probably better developmental pattern. In the meanwhile, she discusses the ways how to carry out the newly developmental pattern in Tibet.In fifth chapter, the main idea what the author spokes of is the evaluating indicator of GNH.Finally, in sixth chapter, the author summarizes the framework of the whole thesis, and points out the further research points.
