With the urban housing system reform in China, the quality of house, the residential function and human living environment improved significantly, the housing needs of the urban and rural residents have been met. However, due to the imperfections of the housing system, there is a series of problems in the running of China’s real estate market, such as irrational housing supply structure, high housing prices, housing needs not met, so that ordinary people lose the right to housing, hindering the upgrading of the national well‐being. Against the background of thissituation, this paper analyzes the relationship between real estate market and GrossNational Happiness.This paper divided the real estate market into the real estate market supply and demand and prices, and on this basis, the paper studied the theoretical path on GrossNational Happiness. In the part of empirical analysis, using Gini coefficient adjustment method, this paper estimates the index of Gross National Happiness in China. Andhigh-end, then use the improved method of grey correlation to do empirical study toanalysis the role in real estate markets on Gross National Happiness. Finally, thispaper offers some policy recommendations about improving Gross NationalHappiness. |
