The Research In The Capacity Of The Economic Population Of Beijing

On the problem of the capacity of the population of Beijing, many researchers have forecasted it from the angle of the resource and the environment, but less from the angle of the economics. To solve the problem, the author made the research from the angle of the development of the economy and the employment of Beijing, to find out the capacity of the employment in Beijing's economy and the capacity of the population which the employee can afford from 2008 to 2020, which can also be called the capacity of the economic population of Beijing.The result of the middle program shows that, under the different foster burden, the capacity of the economic population of Beijing will be reach 22.1 to 16.57 million in 2010,and 23.77 to 17.82 million in 2015, 26.36 to 19.77 million in 2020. The result also larger than the outcomes of the researches which were did from the angles of water, land or other resources. On one hand, this proved that the limited factor on the capacity of the population of Beijing is the condition of Beijing's nature resources. On the other hand, the result also demonstrated the stronger ability of carrying bigger population than the nature resources of Beijing. At last, the article gives several suggestions such as try our best to maintain the growth of the economy of Beijing, give focus on the technological progress which can stimulate the growth of the economy while activate the market of labor force, make efforts to decrease the foster burden on the employed population, pay attention to the technological progress on the environmental protect and enhance the level of the utilization of the nature resources, extent the protection bounds of our social security system to ensure the economy and social growth of Beijing.
