"Study On Spare Parts Inventory Management Of A Company"

With the high speed of modernization, equipment is becoming more and more important. Spare parts management as a key point can not be ignored. Product line is often shut down for a long period because of the damage or shortage of spare parts. Spare parts management is not only to ensure enough parts of needs, but also to ensure reliable in technology and quality. At the same the total stock value should be less and less.In this paper, the subject was around M company's spare parts inventory management. M company is a wholly foreign-owned enterprises, which has nearly 80 years experience of speakers, both in research and sales areas. It is a pioneer in telecommunications market and acoustics program. After more than two years working and learning in M company, I found that there are many problems in spare parts management of this company. This article will analyze the reasons of these problems, combined with the theoretical knowledge learned from the MBA courses, I worked out solutions. I hope they will be helpful in improving the level of M company's spare parts management, they will also be a reference for the same companies.
