Research On The Spread Of Science And Technology In Risky Society

The essence of this article mainly focuses on the scientific and technological philosophy, together with sociological science and relevant communication theory, discussing the dialectical interaction between the risky society and the spread of science and technology.In the paper, the so-called risky society, in fact, stands for a descriptive summary of the living situation, which were faced by human at present and even in a comparatively long historical period. In such a society, crisis and un-controllable events derived from nature and various fields may occur at any time. Additionally, communication is a basic way of dissemination for scientific and technological exchange; a related acts of social practice paradigm. And such paradigm, its main points are regarding to the public who are in great need of science, technology and spirit; its main purpose is to popularize science and technology, as long as the dissemination of scientific methods ,ideas and scientific spirit; eventually it will achieve a rich sharing and exchanging for scientific information and knowledge, raising the public awareness of science and culture, and accelerate the development of civilization.With the respect of social theory of risk, it is derived and defined by science and technology. In a risky society, the essence of science and technology is the uncertainty of man-made risks, that is to say, it mainly comes from decisions made by human beings, precisely, from the development of modern science and technology. Moreover, the technology risks are "not perceived" and "knowledge-dependent." It is these two characteristics that have determined the internal logic between a risky society and scientific distribution.In the context of risky society, as a result of the diversity and complicacy in their social use, internal elements of the dissemination of science and technology have various inter-linkages, interaction and mutual penetration, which are utterly different from the previous ones. Nevertheless, the structural position of these elements is changing all the time. Such changes have brought opportunities to their internal structural elements, as well as practical problems in related areas, which are worthy researching in-depth. When things come to the elements of the dissemination, activities in a risky society tells us that the previous spreading model is changing from a single direction to multi-direction, from a relatively closed system to a continuously developing system, from a simple linear one to a complicated and ever-changing non-linear one. Moreover, in different levels of the practical activities, the original model is moving towards integration, becoming complex, and stepping into a historic reconstruction. In this risky society, the role of the scientific dissemination is changing gradually. It shows that, the spread of science and technology is either a mechanism to help people define a certain risk; or to observe and predict a social risk, providing resolution, and avoiding a further crisis. On the other hand, a dissemination filled with awareness of risk, represents a certain sense of achievement of human-beings. Also, it is the unique function that the scientific dissemination offers to the public- digging the features of human nature deeply.In the field of communication, communication is the guiding concept of the activities of people engaged in the dissemination of ideological principles. As a social practice of human activity, communication is bound to reflect the needs of people's intentions and objectives, which reflect the varying degrees of human nature and the object of human nature. In view of risk society, technical communication, as one kind of human scientific and technological practice, owns its idea diffusions. In this paper, searching for the orientation of the concept, the first debate goes to the human and the society. Under the circumstance of risk society, in order to improve the human modernization and social modernization, technical communication should persevere in the concept of human in historical and dialectical view. Moreover, the modernized society is founded by human themselves, and the people should train, practiced and improved in the society.
