Safety Management Research On Overseas Enterprises Of CNPC

Petroleum is one of the most important strategic resources,a nd mea nwhile,is one of thescarcest resources in China.CNPC is one of China's three gia nt state petroleum enterprises andowing to the urgent need of enterprises'self-development and country's security requirement,CNPC enterprises should take active part in the world petroleum market competition and facethe challenge of foreign direct investment.For the particularities of petroleum industry,CNPC isconfronted with potentia l risks in politics,economy,culture, production and so on.As aresult,safety ma nagement has become one of most important issues of overseas enterprises inthe survival and development of CNPC.In this thesis,the connotation of safety ma nagement is richer tha n that of traditiona l safetyproduction ma nagement.It involves the production of security, politica l security, fina ncia lsecurity, environmental security, personnel security and other aspects.In this paper,I analyzevarious risks that CNPC encounters in the overseas operations and compare it to the currentlystatus of safety ma nagement of CNPC.Finally,we can indentify the weaknesses in safetyma nagement of overseas enterprises of CNPC.By learning experience in safety ma nagement ofother large oil companies from home and abroad,this thesis is focus on sysmetic research ofthese risks mentioned above in order to suppy some sysmetic and comprehensive safetyma nagement countermeasures and guara ntee safety ma nagement for overseas enterprises ofCNPC .
