The Countermeasures Research To Enhance The Capability Of Independent Innovation Of China's Auto Industry

In the current context of financial crisis, the global automotive industry has entered a serious recession. Major automobile giants suffered huge losses, the operation going from bad to worse. Though the development of Chinese automobile industry has not been greatly damaged in the background , it is also faced with severe challenges. In the second half of 2008, China's auto market growth rate obviously slowed down. But in contrast, the China's auto market during the crisis can be described as "thriving."The downturn in the international auto market will force the giants to increase investment in the Chinese market, so Chinese auto market over the next few years will be even more intense competitive. Not only that, but the development of Chinese automobile industry is facing a more serious internal situation. Environment and resources is increasingly clear restraints; lack of core technology, poor product quality, weak capacity of independent development of China's automobile industry has become a serious obstacle to its healthy development. Though these internal and external problems has not been intensified when the current market potential and capacity can be for roundabout, the situation is also serious. To solve these problems, promote the healthy development of the automobile industry and avoid further into the abyss of" introduction - backward - and another introduction ", the Chinese automobile industry must vigorously implement the strategy of independent innovation, and strive to enhance the capability of independent innovation.This article firstly discussed the necessity and urgency to enhance the capability of independent innovation of China's auto industry in the current situation of the financial crisis; And then discussed the situation of the independent innovation and the existence of the problem, then made a detailed analysis to the questions from two-fold of government policies and business.By drawing on the Korea's experience of the development of its automobile industry, this article finally propose the solution of these problems including government policies and business.
