In this paper, agricultural ecology, ecological economics, sustainable development theory, and theory of ecological balance assessement, indicators of ecosystem health assessment are the guides and Yili Huo County, Yining County are the research examples on the basis of the study area in the field surveys and systematic collection of first--hand information combined with the actual agricultural situation of Yili valley. It discusses the stability of farmland productivity, agro--ecosystem health, agro--ecosystem health in the north shore of the Yili valley. It adopts the change in every year grain production of two counties as the breakthrough and discusses the stability of the situation of farm production in the study area through the application of variance analysis and cluster analysis. By analyzing the key elements to farmland, agricultural ecosystem health of the two counties , it builds a comprehensive evaluation system of the health system initially. And it distinguishes farmland ecosystems and agro--ecosystem health condition of the research area with the application of Analytic Hierarchy Process to determine the evaluation system for all weights. The conclusion of the paper are listed as the following:1.Through the use of variance analysis and cluster analysis methods, it takes a stability analysis to the food production in the study area of the calendar year from the region and time span perspectives.The results show that Yili's food production of the north shore , whether in different geographical regions or in different time span ,is very stable, and the vast majority production of the township market is higher than the food productivity of Xinjiang and is generally balanced. From 2000 to 2007 , grain production capacity has been in a steadily increasing trend. Thus the result is that farmland productivity of the north shore of the Yili valley is in stable condtion ,and this status has been upgraded.2 .through the establishment of evaluation system for health indicators for the study area of farmland, we found that the north shore of Yili River Valley area of farmland ecological health status result from the slightly morbid Subhealth has entered the health status situation.The elements which cause system instability or volatile are indicators of sustainability, productivity targets, sustainability indicators, as well as an indicator of the growth of arable land, food production, land density changes in the economy, productivity stability, resilience than fluctuations caused by secondary indicators.3. Through analyzing agro--ecosystem health assessment in the study area with AHP--related the evaluation index system, combined with various findings of the study and practical situation in Xinjiang, it set up the scoring standards. Evaluation results show that the north shore of Yili Valley agro--ecosystems has been in health status, but one of the agricultural function characteristics and resilience is still in frequent fluctuations in status.4. Through three levels of evaluation we can find that Yili Valley in the agro--ecological is in the health status, but the fields of agriculture vector system health is not stable, in 2000, 2002 and 2004, the study area got into a sub--health status ,and the phenomena repeated intermittent during the 8 years.with the guidance of the relevant policy and the assistance of Technology to some extent ,the disadvantage of the health of agricultural ecology has been diminished, and ensured sustainable and stable production capacity.5. Initial analysis showed that health status of agriculture in the north shore of Yili Valley will always be the objective environmental factors.Northwest arid area of natural conditions, water conditions, soil nutrition changes in the extent of land salinisation, climate change and wind resources, hail and other natural disasters on agricultural production and health have constraints.6. The overall health status of agriculture in the north shore of Yili Valley will always be influenced by human factors. The instability of the agricultural balance can also be caused by the following factors: the effective implementation of new agricultural policy, and changes in the area of arable land, agricultural restructuring, agricultural inputs, food production.Although in the past, other scholars had taken the AHP ecological health of agricultural research, but not having tried to analyze on the health of agro--ecological stability of agricultural productivity, agro--ecosystem health, agro--ecosystem health evaluationThis thesis, combined with AHP method to avoid the insufficiency of subjective evaluation which may bring inadequate results because of its probable inferior recognition, attempts to analyze the health of the agricultural ecology. Furthermore, this thesis provides a new idea for scientific measurement of the agricultural ecosystem health ,which is the innovation of this article.
