Study On Applying The Whole Process Consultant For Consultant And Design Enterprises Of The Water Transportation

In recent years, with the rapid economic development, waterway transport has become one of the most booming industries in China. Nevertheless, the consulting and design enterprises in the field of waterway transport are facing the significant choice on the development orientation after their vigorous growth in past ten years. The domestic market competition is becoming tougher more than it ever did. Meanwhile, the consulting and design enterprises have to be inevitably confronted with internationalization of domestic market and fierce international competition, which is full of challenge and frustration and not depending on their intention. Therefore, for the consultant and design enterprises, the internationalization and the further development demand that their business styles should be adapted to the international ways and involved in whole process service.The whole process service for consulting and design in the field of waterway transport is addressed in this article. Potential problems in the consulting and design industry will be identified through a series of analysis of current business mode and service style. In the meantime, a more reasonable service concept complied with national development theory and direction will be defied after a thorough study of current conception of management system and organizational innovation by comparing with international business styles and service manners from oversea consultants. Due to the specialty of national waterway transport industry, a full copy of western style is not appropriate. This article uses CCCC Water Transportation Consultants Co. Ltd, which is one of the most authoritative consultants in China, for instance to analyze the essentiality and feasibility of whole process service for consulting and design. It will also define the emphases, strategies and bases of whole process service through systematic analysis of current difficulties together with solving methods to find the development direction for consulting and design organizations in the field of waterway transport. Due to the absence of current data on research of whole process service in the filed of waterway transportation as well as other industries, this study has been carried out based on a series of interviews, investigations and comparisons.
