This paper mainly studies on Home network, which has a rapidly develop nowadays. It studies on the existing problems of Home network during its developing period, especially on its industrial value chain and profit model research. It just wants to find the ways to resolve the problems of Home network, and the development roadblock of Home network will be cleared up.This paper mainly includes several parts as followed: firstly, the concept and compose of home network is given, and also the services that home network can provide now and will provide in the future are introduced; secondly, this paper introduces the developing status of home network both in and out of our country and the problems in its developing process; then, on the basis of analyzing the developing environment of home network in China, three integrate industrial value chains of home network in its developing process are constructed. The roles that each main nodes in this industrial chain plays and the relationship between them are also analyzed. All these analysis makes the basis of analysis of profit model.Then, research framework of business model is analyzed starting from existed concept of business model, and the analysis framework of home network business model is given out. On this basis, we analyze and consider that telecommunication carrier is the leader in industrial chain, and also analyze the business model of home network from four parts of services, targeted customers, tariff model and profit distribution.At last, we get conclusion and suggestion of home network in its industrialization process. In the aspect of products and services, more services and cross-services should be given in order to satisfy the various demands of customers. In the aspect of targeted customers, we should lower the customer lose-rate for basic services. We also should take care of district difference for these new services, and we can firstly put out these services in developed coastal area and inland larger cities and secondly in second-line cities. In the aspect of tariff model, pay per month and other models are all suggested. In the aspect of profit distribution, firstly, network carrier should be made the leader of industrial value chain; secondly all nodes in this chain should get their profit by the proportion that they put into.
