With the changes of the lifestyle in 21 century, the way the audiences receive information has been changed enormously either, this takes new challenges and opportunities to the development of media correspondingly. Outdoor media has been resumed since 1979 in China, and is splendent gradually. Especially after the outdoor video media emergence at the beginning of this century, the outdoor media is becoming the focus of the public and gaining the market share with its unique audiences.By utilizing the managerial knowledge, SWOT analysis, strategic groups and industry life-cycle concepts, the author of this paper attempts to compare the outdoor video media and traditional TV media; illustrate the specialty of outdoor video media industry, work out a system architecture; set up a commercial model and operation strategy; analysis the issues the industry may face and related solutions; The ultimate purpose of these researches is to summarize the trends of outdoor video media., and find out trends of future development and business opportunities of the outdoor video media industry.
