With enterprise mergers being in more popular over the global world, the HRintegration process in enterprise mergers has shown its' importance without doubt.In most cases, it plays the role of key factor in the operations' success.TOM Outdoor Media Group ("TOM Outdoor") was founded in Oct., 2002 as aWhole capital subsidiary of TOM Group Limited ("TOM Group"), which is a jointventure between Hutchison Whampoa, Cheung Kong Holdings, and other strategicinvestors. After successfully taking over 14 outdoor media companies through outBeijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other major mainland cities, TOM Outdoor nowoperates the largest billboard and unipole network in Mainland China, providingcomprehensive nationwide advertising solutions covering consulting, designing,purchasing, producing and supervising services.This report is tailored to describe the HR integration process' characteristic in TOMOutdoor's merger operations, based on the analysis of TOM Outdoor's 3 majorphases in its' development-setting up, mergers and integrations. Then the conclusionis brought forward that the HR integration played very important role in mergers. Allthe HR work concomitant with the mergers, such as well plotted HR integrationstrategies and mechanisms, selection and train of the merger executives and goodcommunication through out the process, definitively helped mergers succeed,Additionally, as the extension of this research, some proposals are put forward forfurther reference.
