Risk Management In Beijing Netcom Hotel Broadband Project

Having been a fixed communication services partnership in 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, China Net Com (CNC) had an idea of "Broadband Olympics". Its core is to provide integrated and convenient services and rich applications based on high-speed networks and broadband access. The hotel business is a window of showing the idea directly to the international and domestic. Meanwhile, hotels' clients are high-value-added customers; they give broadband business operators substantial revenues. The investment accounts return a high rate of interest and have a strong role model. Therefore, the hotel business is one of the key goals to develop.Hotel customers, especially business customers, demand a high quality of service when giving operators high-income. Operating in the value chain, hotel operators have higher demands to telecommunication operators, including: business models, personalized services, advanced technologies and after-sales service quality and the like.The main content of this paper includes: hotel broadband business development programs (including network programs, accounting and billing implementation strategies) and the system's demonstration in Beijing. In this system, with the ever-changing needs of individual hotels, operators have found new problems which are being perfected in implementation process. It is believed that the achievement of a product and technology is a gradual and continuous improvement process.Techniques and business services involved in this paper have been implemented in most of high class hotels, which provide customers with high-quality broadband services. At the same time, these techniques and services have been recognized by hotels and clients.In this paper, the technical and business has been in the majority of the implementation of high-grade hotels, guests stay in the provision of quality broadband services, as well as operators of hotels and good economic returns, by the hotel and clients recognized.For the project there is great risk that the papers will focus on the risk management of specific measures.1) New technology of uncertainty: due to the severe market competition, the manufacturers tend to constantly introduce new versions of/ new technologies, resulting in system instability, the functions of the original commitment to such issues can not be achieved.2) low risk: Because the characteristics of the communications industry, in the event of network paralysis / billing errors and other major communications failure, in terms of the operators, will lead to complaints and even a large number of users to switch to other networks; of equipment suppliers, will face operators of high claims, and serious impact on the company's image and market competitiveness.
