The Government's Action Research Of China Livable City Construction

In recent years, China entered the accelerated phase of urbanization, urban construction has made great achievements, but also encountered a variety of complex urban problems. Under our country fast urbanization development background, presented environmental pollution, traffic jams, housing tense, city's character is lost and the pursuit of GDP growth is too high to ignore such issues as the quality of urban life. China is one of the world's fastest growing cities in the process of the countries, is facing the city from the extensive transition to a conservation-minded city, needs to explore suits the Chinese characteristic road of the urban growth, in order to improve the quality of the urban environment and improve the living environment. Create a livable city is an important way to maintain a sustainable urban development and improve the urban living environment. To this end, many cities has make building livable city as the goal of urban development in China, and many cities has invested enormous human, material and financial resources for that end. How to build "livable city" has become the focus of close attention of the city government and residents. Building livable city is suitably in the profound understanding city essence, had considered fully the person and in the nature harmonious sustainable development's foundation proposed, it will conform to the future city construction and the development request, will be the China urban development idea rapid promotion important symbol, also will be an urban construction goal qualitative leap. Livable city building to meet the needs from the perspective of urban development will help to overcome all kinds of "urban disease" and to prevent a new "urban disease" emergence. Chinese municipal government is a key driver in building a livable city. It has played an important role in effectively promoting the building of livable city in China. However, building of livable city in our country still has all sorts of problems. In order to effectively solve these problems the Government urgent needs to optimize the construction of livable city in some of the acts. In this paper, how to optimize the acts of the Government of building a better livable city and how to build livable city in China were discussed.
