Land was the most fundamental productive materials for agricultural production and the most basic material conditions for rural economic development. It had great significance to agricultural production and management, and also determined the stability and development of the rural economy. Land system was an important component of socio-economic system. In rural, land system was the core of socio-economic systems in rural areas. Whether the rural land system was perfect had greatly affected the solution of "three rural" issues and the whole country's reform, development and stability. Overall, China's rural land system was in line with national conditions. However, with economic development, its drawbacks were also increasingly apparent. This reflected the urgency to reform and improve the rural land system again in our country. But, in the long-term debate about the reform of the rural land system, few people concerned about the farmer's cognition, real ideas and their will. Land was the best interests of the majority farmers. The rural land system reform and innovation should take into full account of farmer's cognition and real ideas, and farmer's will and choices should be respected, because the level of farmer's cognition and real ideas were the source and foundation to innovate system and theory for us.Based on the research results from academic and theoretical circle, choosing the farmers in Xinjin County for investigation, using the research technique methods which integrate theory with practice and combine qualitative and quantitative measures, this article inspected and analysed the recognition, evaluation and will of the farmers to the current rural land system. It explored the main factors that had impacted on farmer's will on the land system reform using Logistic model analysis. Then we gave some constructive suggestions to the government policy which could make the land system reform smoothly. The main conclusions were drawn as follows:1. The overall implementation of rural land system in Xinjin County was good. Xinjin County implemented all three group-based system for a long time and farmers land contract-management right was relatively stable. But, we also found some problems in survey, such as: different degrees of land adjustment made the farmers lack of confidence in the stability of land; labor, income, non-agricultural employment and other factors impacted the rural land transfer, resulting in that the rural land could not concentrate to the scale of operation and so on.2. The overall cognitive level of farmers for the existing rural land system was not very high. Overall, farmer's cognition of the rural land system was not consistent with current institutional arrangements. Farmer's cognition of the main ownership of rural land was fuzzy. They didn't understand the land contract-management deeply, they mainly concerned about the members rights of the collective land. Farmer's cognition to the main land adjustment had a large deviation to the actual situation. They thought that the village collective had a certain influence on the operation and procedures of the rural land transfer. Farmers thought the ownership of land value-added income right tended to be their own.3. Farmers were basically satisfied with the current land contract-management system. More than 80 percent of the surveyed farmers expressed satisfaction with the current land contract-management system as the main body of the rural land system. That meant the system as "collective ownership of rural land, the family contracting business" would continue to carry on for a certain period. At the same time, land fragmentation, decentralization, would not facilitate the reunification of the scale of operations, subdivision uneven became the main problem for the current land contract-management system in famers views.4. The majority of farmers liked stability in their mind. They did not want the rural land system to be changed drastically. Only about one-third of households thought it was necessary to reform the current rural land system and most of them were basically satisfied with the current land contract-management system which reflected that most famers liked stability in their mind and did not want to see drastic change in the process of the rural land system reform. It was more obvious for those aged people who was farming at home with low level of education.5. Farmer's cognition and evaluation for the rural land system were the main factors influencing farmer's attention. Farmer's cognitition for the land contract-management right, the main of land adjustment, land value-added income right and evaluation of rural land system significantly impacted on farmer's will of the rural land system reform. There were strong correlation. We should consider these factors when we put forward counter measures and suggestions on improving the rural land system.
