Study On Location Of The Distribution Center Based On The Extension

Distribution center as a key component of the supply chain connects the two sides of supply and demand, and determines the flow costs and efficiency of the supply chain. Distribution center for the substantial reduction in the loss of the supply chain and improving the level of supply chain services, is the unit that the other members of the supply chain unmatched. Therefore conduct a study on the distribution center is of great economic significance and practical significance, and a very important issue in project planning that the construction of logistics distribution centers is the location of logistics distribution center.This paper introduces the concept, categories, and functions of distribution center, and analyzes the principles and methods of the distribution center location. Through present the current commonly used method of selecting distribution center, point out that the inadequacy of existing research. Then introduce a new method of distribution center location, and analyzes the application of the model.
