Study On Realization Of Zero Stock For Manufacturing Enterprise Based On SCM

The modern information technology, electronic technology and the development of economical globalization impells the fast development of Supply Chain and its management. As the most important part, stock management is the key to realize the supply chain benefit. Stock control in supply chain expands the field of ranges from one enterprise to the whole chain network. It can reduce the stock level of whole supply chain, and even can realize zero stock by all the enterprises on the supply chain exchanging stock information fully, and managing stock together with each other. Manufacturing Enterprises on supply chain could resolve a lot of problems with the help of zero stock when putting up substantive and normative production.Firstly, the paper studies the theories of supply chain and stock. It analyses the supply chain management, zero stock and relevant concepts, on the base of present misunderstanding. Then, it points out that we could understand zero stock on two aspects: one is the side of physical concept, another is the law side. The paper also works out that the main reason of the superfluous stock is bullwhip effect.Secondly, it proves the necessary for the manufacturing Enterprises to carry out zero stock management, pointing out that four important factors should be considered. It analyzies some methods to realize zero stock management. On the basic, give a set of zero stock implementary models, and studies the requirements and the process of realizing zero stock. Furthermore, the author believes that the guarantee for manufacturing enterprises on supply chain in our country concludes three facets: we should analysis effect on stock from the uncertain thing on supply chain correctly; JIT should be carried out on supply chain; we also should learn from overseas successful experience.Finally, it analyzies the keystone and difficulties for manufacturing enterprises to carry out zero stock on supply chain in our country. So, propose some policy and suggestions for the execution of zero stock.
