Study On The Regional Economic Competitive Power Theory

A study of the regional competitive power theory helps to deepen understanding of the regional economy. And it can also help the regional-economy-policy-makers formulate the regional developmental strategy from the higher and newer level, so as to acquire the regional competitive advantage and speed up the regional development.The paper, revolving the core question of the regional competitive power and following the researching path of the regional industrial cluster, regional industrial competitive power and regional competitive power, retrospects as well as discusses the connotation and the definition of regional competitive power and the related theory as well, probes into such problems as the economics rationale, the appraisal model and the appraisal target system for the regional competitive power, regional industrial competitive power, and interaction mechanism between the regional industrial competitive power and the industrial clusters.The paper makes a concrete analysis of factors that have an important influence on the regional competitive power of the foundation of Porter and IMD's Regional Competitive Power Model, and puts forward the regional competitive power appraisal model creatively, starting from the region resources optimization disposition ability, and taking the regional competitive power as the analysis object.
