The Research On The Cooperative Mode Of China Post Express And Private Express Enterprise

With the development of social productivity and improvement of people's living standards, since 2004, our express delivery market has rapidly increased by 25% per year. However, along with the reform of economic system and gradual open in the express delivery market, China Post Express's market share has been declined for 4% every year, and for the foreign express delivery giants, the average annual growth has been about 40% after our accession to the WTO. Recently, there is a vigorous development in the fissures for private express enterprises. Moreover, it has become inevitable to integrate enterprise resources so as to deal with the challenge by effectively consolidating cooperation. Aiming to enhancing national industries and fending off overseas investment by integrating enterprise resources and enhancing resource utilization, the thesis studied on how to construct a mutually beneficial and win-win model for China Post Express and private express enterprises' cooperation.Through analyzing the two cooperation cases that between Xinhua Bookstore and the private press, and the private and overseas express enterprises, enhancing China Post Express and private express enterprises' cooperation by setting up virtual enterprise to optimize the operating models for our express enterprises has been proposed in the thesis. Enterprise structure was adjusted and the operating processes were also optimized on the new model. In accordance with the new operating model, cost declining model was established by means of activity-based costing. Then, it was found that the unit cost in the new model was declining through analyzing and calculating.In the end, through a specific example, the organizational structure was adjusted and the operating process was reengineered in China Post Express and private express enterprises on the bases of the virtual enterprise. It revealed in the evaluation that the unit cost decreased in both kind of the enterprises. Therefore the superiority of integrating resources in the new model was proved. Furthermore, by enhancing resource utilization, the target of enhancing express delivery industries and fending off overseas investment were got. Through this thesis's research and analysis, some valuable proposals were expected to be provided for the cooperation between China Post Express and private express enterprises.The Innovation spots of this thesis including: 1. It has come to the conclusion that China Post Express and private express enterprises were complementary in operating process and type of service through analysis. 2. Analyzing the case of Xinhua bookstore which was successfully restructured, cooperating developing model in express delivery industries based on the virtual enterprise was brought out. 3. To evaluate the resources utilization in express delivery enterprise, it has provided a direct-viewing method which calculated the unit cost of enterprises through introducing activity-based costing method into the express delivery industry.
