After China's entering into WTO, the constraints related to logistics service including transportation, express, leasing, airfreight and warehousing would be abolished step by step.From 1980's, all the express giants were optimistic about Chinese market and launched in China. Most business of these companies is international express service for the Chinese import and export activities. With the fewer limits to the access to China market and many big express companies entering, small and medium sized foreign express companies also choose to go to China. Even though the demand keeps growing, the unfavorable factors that constraint China's economies are increasing. Each enterprise is facing the fierce competition. Comparing to foreign express giants, foreign medium and small size express companies lack of huge capital back up and they haven't such broad sales and service net like local companies. A foreign express enterprise needs developing right competition strategy so that it can acquire stable and long-turn development.The thesis is to analyze AE Express Company's case, aiming at offering helpful references to foreign medium and small size express logistics enterprises through studying AE Express Company's competition strategy. This thesis carries on the summary of third party logistics industry at first, after comparing the developing of foreign and China third-party logistics industry; it introduces AE Express Company's developing history. Then analyze AE Express Company's developing environment and competition strategy. At last, the thesis puts forward suggestions based on developing competition strategy of foreign express enterprises in China.
