Modern logistics has acted as a more and more important role under the background of today's globalizational economy. Companies pay remarkable attention on building SCM systems in order to create their core-competition capabilities.Chinese auto industry features rapid growth in whole vehicle sale since Chinese government opened its auto market to overseas giants in 90's last century. However, competition is getting even stronger among companies of the industry whitish high-speed development, hence their aftersales parts logistics are confront with high-pressures of lowering cost and raising CSI level.This thesis aims to study the aftersales parts logistics system of DNPV auto company. The paper fully affirms the advantages such as easy-handling and well-protection in field of aftersales parts sole selling institution through the existing business. This study also pinots out the weakness of the target system, which is high cost and low effectiveness, and demonstrates this kind of weakness resulted from the fields: marvelous high cost with transportation system due to irrational transportation arrangement, lacking deliberated planning and supervising in its 2-level warehouse constitution result in high-level of inventory or low-level customers' satisfaction rate etc,. In which the high level of re-packaging operation of aftersales parts is also mentioned as an notable factor causing high-level capital deposition.With regard of the existing problems, this study analyzes the constructional problems of the target system with the logistics theories in inventory forecast, warehouse location selection, and transportation decision making so that a modification solution is to be generated. The thesis submits its suggestion to establish a "delta logistics circle within Guangzhou, Shanghai and Wuhan areas" since in this way an integrated logistics circle may be created in areas, in which there includes purchasing logistics, depots supplement logistics and sales logistics etc,. The author suggest re-construct 3 level of warehouses constitution which comprises center warehouse, district warehouses and depots in stead of existing system and, a clear functionality definition and in-stock proportion scheme should be defined in this new warehouse solution in order to achieve the cost reduction and dealers satisfaction increase. Moreover, this study gives a suggestion to minimize the cost on the re-packaging of the After Sales Parts, which relies on programming to improve the standard packaging. Improving accuracy of aftersales parts demand forecasting so as to lower in-stock level is also mentioned.Nevertheless, this study applies the software SCIM to simulate the logistics operations for a three levels warehousing system. Based on the optimized figures, this study illustrate the contributions of simulation software to the design and optimization of logistics solution, especially in the decision making process.Finally, this study gives a brief suggestion on the design of computer system used for the target company's logistic system.
